Self-hosted by design
BoxBox is a self-hosted file manager. When you run it on your own server, all of your files, credentials, and activity stay on hardware that you control. BoxBox does not phone home, does not collect telemetry, and does not route your data through any third-party service.
Your data stays on your server
The files you manage, the accounts you configure, and the uploads you make are stored and processed entirely on your own BoxBox instance. There is no cloud component, no analytics, and no backend operated by the project that sees your content.
This website (boxbox.radhey.dev)
The public project website is hosted on Vercel and served statically. It does not set tracking cookies. To show the latest release banner, the site fetches public release metadata from the GitHub API; that request is cached server-side and contains no personal information about you.
GitHub
Source code, releases, and issue tracking live on GitHub, which is governed by GitHub's own privacy and data policies. Anything you post publicly there (issues, comments, pull requests) is subject to those policies.
Changes to this policy
This policy may be updated as the project evolves. Material changes will be reflected here with an updated revision date.
